Personal Trainer with Staffing experience (Downtown Boston)

Semper International is in need of a personal trainer or other fitness professional with staffing experience for our fitness division

Our goal is to provide a solid flexible staffing solution to our clients with options to flex-to-hire and direct hire candidates if our clients' needs are greater than just temporary (flex) staffing.

Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or 3 years of experience in either the personal fitness or staffing.
  • Experience in hiring and managing employees.
  • Experience in working within a database, internet and social networks.

Scope of Position: The primary focus of this role is to recruit, interview, source, talent market and place qualified talent at client companies.

  • Work out of our office located in downtown Boston, work with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.
  • Source and recruit candidates to fill client needs and to develop an applicant pool; interview and profile candidate, conduct background and reference checks, and perform related recruiting and sourcing functions; determine the best-qualified people for open positions at client locations and place appropriate individuals on assignment.
  • Clarify job skill requirements and job request timetables with the client on orders received.
  • Conduct appropriate interviews and discovery to understand the client's and talent's expectations, objectives, and related requirements.
  • Counsel the employees on continuous performance improvement, employment questions and problems, and related areas of concern; including up to termination or removal from projects and assignments.
  • Develop new clients via lead generation, marketing and networking

Account Manager / Recruiter (San Francisco)

Semper LLC , a national staffing firm specializing in temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire placement for the print, copy, digital, pre media and interactive media is seeking an Account Manager / Recruiter for its San Francisco, CA office.

MUST HAVE STAFFING EXPERIENCE

Job Description:

  • Make outbound sales/telemarketing calls to potential and current clients. (40-60 calls per day)
  • Sell to the potential client and current clients’ services offered by Semper LLC.
  • Qualify needs for staffing and payrolling.
  • Identify talent via job posting responses, reverse resume searches, internet searches, and networking events.
  • Skill-market candidates to current and prospect clients via email and/or phone.
  • Interview and select candidates for job placement based on client requirements.
  • Manage applicant process and client follow up.
  • Email, follow-up and follow through with any and all inquiries related to job opportunities, job orders and services provided.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of staffing and/or service sales experience. Telemarketing experience a plus!
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Assertive, highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Personable, problem-solver and team player.
  • People-person who can effectively communicate via telephone and e-mail communications and successfully overcome objections to secure an in-person appointment for our outside sales staff.
  • Ability to multi-task and to sell.
