Account Manager / Recruiter (Chicago, IL)

Semper International LLC, a national staffing firm specializing in temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire placement for the print, copy, digital, pre media and interactive media is seeking an Account Manager for its Chicago, IL office.

Position Description:

Sales:

  • Make outbound sales/telemarketing calls to potential and current clients. (40+ calls per day)
  • Sell Semper's range of services.
  • Define specific requirements for staffing assignments.

Recruitment:

  • Identify, interview and qualify talent via job posting responses, reverse resume searches, internetsearches, and networking events.
  • Proactively skill-market candidates to current and prospective clients via email and phone.
  • Interview and select candidates for job placement based on client requirements.
  • Establish and maintain excellent communications with talent pool and talent on assignment.
  • Manage applicant hiring, assignment process, and client follow up.
  • Respond to and follow through on inquiries regarding job opportunities, job orders and services offered.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of staffing and/or service sales experience; telemarketing experience a plus.
  • Must be comfortable with software/PC use in job tasks; Mac skills a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, strong work ethic, organized, and a self-starter.
  • Highly achievement/goal motivated with a can-do, positive problem solving approach.
  • Well developed client relationship skills
  • People-person who can effectively communicate via telephone and e-mail communications tosuccessfully overcome sales objections, market Semper's added value, and gain assignments.
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to business needs and balance sales and recruiting functions.
