The PIA Members Discount at Semper works as follows:

For example, a client needs an employee and chooses to utilize our convenient and efficient services to find the perfect match. Let’s say that the employee’s starting salary is $40,000.

In the direct hire placement scenario, the fee would be: $40,000 x 25%= $10,000

As a PIA member, you receive the 10% discount. Your discount would be: $10,000 x 10%= $1,000

making your total fee $9,000.

In the flexible to hire scenario, Semper subtracts an additional 0.5% for every week the employee works prior to being hired. So the fee would be:

$40,000 x 25%= $10,000

If the employee works four weeks prior to being hired, Semper subtracts

4 weeks x 0.5%= 2.0%

from the 25% fee, making it 23% of the employee’s starting salary. The fee is thus:

$40,000 x 23%= $9,200

for PIA members, you receive the 10% discount, making your discount:

$9,200 x 10%= $920

and your total fee $8,280.
